CorWellness: A National Corrections Safety and Wellness Initiative aims to improve the lives of correctional officers and staff through no-cost training, resources, and customized assistance. Led by experts in the corrections field, CorWellness offers dynamic in-person and virtual training sessions that equip corrections personnel with actionable strategies to foster a strong culture of safety and wellness, focusing on physical and mental health.
The CorWellness curriculum comprises topics such as:

- Enhancing physical fitness
- Prioritizing mental wellness
- Applying leadership principles
- Combating chronic stress
- Improving organizational culture
- Navigating generational differences within the corrections workforce

CorWellness also provides resources including infographics, podcasts, and videos that supplement the concepts covered during the training sessions and reinforce ways to enhance the safety and wellness of all correctional professionals.

A designated subject-matter expert (SME) will work one-on-one with your agency to develop a targeted technical assistance (TA) plan that focuses on your specific needs. Through a collaborative approach, TA is designed to help agencies improve operations, implement policies, enhance culture, and/or address recruitment and retention challenges. TA is offered in-person or virtually, through short- or long-term engagements, via training or peer exchanges.
